Iranian traditional and folkloric music, in celebration of Nowruz, was performed at the Orient Museum in Lisbon in the presence of hundreds of cultural and artistic figures from Portugal, members of the diplomatic community, Iranian residents, the Muslim community, and a group of Afghan compatriots.
Live performance of music and calligraphy by Iranian and Portuguese artists with the excellent harmony of dotar, piano, and tambourine and the poem “Bashnu az nei…”, Rumi delighted the hall.
At the end of the ceremony, the calligraphic artwork interpreted during the program by Dr. Somayeh Gholami, an Iranian artist residing in Portugal, was presented to the director of the Museum of the Orient.
