Organized by the National Society of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Quinta Essência Association, the Solidarity Exhibition and Art Sale took place from October 9 to 12 at the SNBA Hall in Lisbon, Portugal. This collective exhibition brought together works by more than 150 artists, creating a diverse and dynamic presentation of contemporary artistic practices.
The exhibition was held in support of a social initiative, with participating artists donating part or all of the proceeds from their artworks to the Social Grant. This program is dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities, promoting their social inclusion and helping to build meaningful and independent life projects within the community.
By combining artistic expression with social responsibility, the exhibition highlights the role of art as a powerful tool for solidarity and positive change. Visitors were invited not only to engage with a wide range of artworks, but also to contribute to an important cause through the acquisition of art.
