The Language of Breath is an exhibition of Persian calligraphy that explores the poetic dialogue between language, emotion, and visual rhythm. Through this exhibition, I seek the moment when letters cease to be just a means of communication and become a visual expression of inner feelings — where sound becomes silence and words become images. My handwriting was not designed to be read, but to be felt. Each composition is built through the repetition, distortion and movement of the lyrics, suggesting musical patterns or emotional waves. Living in Portugal, I discover deep connections between Persian calligraphy and Portuguese visual culture. Both traditions celebrate rhythm, ornament, and the poetic spirit of form. The exhibition invites the public to enter a contemplative space, where language becomes texture and silence acquires meaning.
